Description
'Sharing Secrets' is a painting that worked because of a mistake.
I was experimenting with a new charcoal-like pencil. But on applying a wash of watercolour the charcoal substance smeared over the surface, blurring the lines and greying the paper. Fortunately after several more washes of colour the grey added in creating a beautiful atmospheric feel to the work!
